An equalizer raises or lowers some frequencies without touching the others: it can make a bass rounder, a hi-hat brighter, or scoop out the mids to make room for a voice. This module has three bands, each one adjustable from −18 to +18 dB.
Controls
- Low and its Freq: a shelf: everything below the frequency (30 to 500 Hz) goes up or down as one block.
- Mid and its Freq: a bell centered on the frequency (200 Hz to 8 kHz). Q sets its width: a small Q gives a wide, gentle bump; a large Q gives a narrow, nasal peak.
- High and its Freq: a shelf for everything above the frequency (2 to 16 kHz).
At 0 dB, a band changes nothing.
Inputs
- In L, In R: the sound to equalize (In R copies In L).
Outputs
- L, R: the equalized sound, in stereo.
