The Memo is a scrap of paper taped to an empty slot of the rack. It makes no sound and has no knob or jack: it is there for writing. Jot down the setting that changed everything, the idea to try tomorrow, or what each part of a big patch does.
Screen
- Click the sheet and type your text, on several lines if you like (2000 characters at most). While you write, the keys of your keyboard play no notes and trigger no rack shortcut: Backspace deletes a letter, not the module.
- Undo (↶) takes back a whole writing session at once: everything you typed since you clicked into the sheet.
The text is kept with the patch: it comes back when you reload the page, and it goes into the exported file and the share link. Recalling a scene leaves it alone: a note stays the same from one scene to the next.
You can add several of them, and move them by their title like any other module.
