The mixer adds up to four signals into one, each with its own volume. It is just as good at mixing sounds (two VCOs slightly out of tune, for a thicker sound) as at combining modulations (an LFO plus an envelope on a filter cutoff).
Controls
- 1, 2, 3, 4: the volume of each input, from 0 to 1.
- Master: the overall volume of the mix.
- Σ voices: when this switch is on, all the voices of each input are summed into one mono output. This is useful to send a polyphonic sound to a module that should handle only one signal (an effect, for example).
Inputs
- 1, 2, 3, 4: the signals to mix. A mono input patched into a polyphonic mixer is copied to every voice.
Output
- Out: the weighted sum. Careful: adding up several ±5 V signals can go past that range. If it does, turn down Master.

Patch the saw and the square of a VCO into inputs 1 and 2, then watch Out on the scope while you move both volumes: the waveform morphs smoothly from one shape to the other. On the spectrum, the even harmonics of the saw come and go.
